सेन्ट्रल गवर्नमेंट ने बेनामी संपत्ति पर लगाम लगाने के लिए प्रॉपर्टी खरीदने पर आधार नंबर को जरूरी करने की बात कही है। बैंक अकाउंट, पैन कार्ड और पासपोर्ट को आधार से लिंक करने के बाद अब मकान, दुकान को खरीदने या बेचने पर ऐसा करना पड़ेगा। केंद्रीय शहरी विकास मंत्री हरदीप पुरी ने टीवी चैनल ईटी नाऊ से बात करते हुए कहा कि सरकार अब देश भर में प्रॉपर्टी का रजिस्ट्रेशन इलेक्ट्रोनिक तरीके से कर सकती है।

हरदीप पुरी ने कहा कि अभी बैंक अकाउंट को आधार से लिंक किया जा रहा है। हम आगे चलकर प्रॉपर्टी मार्केट के साथ बेनामी संपत्ति को रोकने के लिए भी ऐसा कर सकते हैं। इसके लिए सरकार संपत्ति कानून १९०८ के सेक्शन ३२ और ३२ए में संशोधन कर सकती है।

शीत सत्र में सरकार की बिल लाने की तैयारी में

सेन्ट्रल गवर्नमेंट ने राज्यसभा में लंबित रजिस्ट्रेशन अधिनियम में संशोधन के लिए लाए जा रहे विधेयक में आधार को अनिवार्य करना शामिल किया है। यह सिफारिश संसद की स्थाई समिति ने की थी, जिस पर विचार के लिए मंत्रियों की समिति का गठन किया गया था। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, मंत्रियों की समिति ने इस पर अपनी सहमति देते हुए आधार सत्यापन को अनिवार्य बनाने को कहा था।

इसके बाद विधेयक का संशोधित प्रारूप तैयार कर कानून मंत्रालय को भेजा गया जिसे हरी झंडी मिल चुकी है। अब विधेयक को कैबिनेट की मंजूरी के लिए भेजा जाएगा।

पॉवर ऑफ अटार्नी की भी जानकारी देनी होगी

संपत्ति पर कानूनी हकदार नहीं होने की स्थिति में उस पर कोई कब्जा कर लेता है और फिर फर्जीवाड़े से अपना बना लेता है। ऐसे फर्जीवाड़ों को भी जांच एजेंसियां आसानी से पकड़ लेंगी और जमीन सरकार की हो जाएगी।

संपत्ति की अदलाबदली नहीं कर पाएंगे

कोई व्यक्ति वसीयत, अनुबंध, पॉवर ऑफ अटार्नी, उपहार, हस्तांतरण या अदला-बदली में अपने स्वामित्व वाली जमीन दूसरे व्यक्ति के नाम करता है तो आधार से पता चल जाएगा। इससे अदला-बदली का सौदा छिपाना मुश्किल हो जाएगा।
