पद्मावती फिल्म में दीपिका पादुकोण और रणवीर सिंह भी हैं। ये कलाकार भी फिल्म सिटी के पास ही आकर रहने लगे हैं और अब शाहिद भी इन्हीं की राह पर चल दिए हैं। खबर के अनुसार, शाहिद को चार घंटे का सफर करना पड़ता है। वो फिल्म की शूटिंग के सिलसिले में गोरेगांव के एक होटल में रहेंगे जो फिल्म सिटी के पास है। वो सुबह जल्दी शूटिंग शुरू करेंगे और अगले कुछ घंटे तक काम करते रहेंगे।

चूंकि उन्हें फिल्म में दो अलग-अलग किरदार निभाने है इसलिए काम करना जरूरी था। शाहिद यहां कुछ हफ्तों तक रहेंगे। वहीं शाहिद बेटी मीशा के साथ को भी याद कर रहे हैं। मिड डे के अनुसार, एक दिन जब जल्दी पैकअप हो गया था तो शाहिद की पत्नी मीरा और बेटी मीशा उनसे मिलने आए थे। मीरा ने शाहिद के साथ रणवीर, दीपिका और फिल्म के दूसरें कलाकारों से भी मुलाकात की।

शाहिद और रणवीर के बीच लड़ाई की भी बात सामने आई थीं लेकिन इन दोनों की मुलाकात ने इस खबर पर भी लगाम लगा दिया है। कहा जा रहा है कि दोनों के बीच कलाकार के तौर पर कॉम्पिटिशन तो है ही लेकिन ऑफ कैमरा ये दोनों एक दूसरे से अच्छे से मिलते हैं।बता दें कि डायरेक्टर संजय लीला भंसाली की ये ऐतिहासिक फिल्म महारानी पद्मीनी और उनके जौहर पर बनाई जा रही है। ये फिल्म १७ नवंबर को रिलीज हो सकती है।
